Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Automotive Technician to join our dynamic service team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. Your expertise will help deliver exceptional service to our customers, keeping their vehicles in top condition. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of automotive systems and technologies, including advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), transmissions, diesel engines, and electrical systems. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs and maintenance on vehicles, including engine repairs, transmission work, powertrain servicing, and electrical system troubleshooting. Utilize schematics and technical manuals to interpret vehicle wiring diagrams and repair procedures. Repair or replace components such as brakes, suspension parts, steering systems, and alignments to ensure optimal vehicle performance. Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive equipment to complete repairs efficiently. Service GM vehicles and diesel engines with precision, adhering to manufacturer specifications and safety standards. Communicate clearly with customers about repair needs and estimated timelines while providing excellent customer service throughout the process. Requirements Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive repair. Knowledge of automotive electrical systems, ADAS technology, schematics interpretation, and diagnostics tools. Mechanical knowledge of powertrain components, transmissions, diesel engines, and vehicle maintenance procedures. Hands-on experience with wheel alignments, vehicle inspections, auto estimating software, and general automotive service practices. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other maintenance machinery safely and effectively. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to read technical manuals and troubleshoot complex vehicle issues.
