Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, with the possibility of later hours depending on workload Full-Time Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced Lead European Automotive Diagnostic Technician for a well-established automotive shop in the Brandon/Valrico area. We are looking for a highly skilled technician with strong diagnostic abilities and hands-on experience working specifically with European vehicles. This position is ideal for someone who can confidently troubleshoot complex issues, perform quality repairs, and work independently in a busy shop environment. What You'll Be Doing Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and drivability issues on European vehicles Work with makes including BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Volkswagen, Volvo, and Mini Use factory-level diagnostic software and scan tools such as ISTA, XENTRY, ODIS, Autel, or similar platforms Interpret fault codes, wiring diagrams, technical data, and manufacturer repair information Perform electrical testing and isolation to accurately identify vehicle issues Complete Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVI) Perform road tests before and after repairs to verify concerns and ensure repair quality Handle mechanical repairs and maintenance as needed Maintain accurate documentation of diagnostic findings and completed repairs What We're Looking For Minimum 3-5+ years of recent hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing European vehicles Previous experience in a European specialty shop, independent repair facility, or dealership Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting skills Experience using advanced scan tools, wiring schematics, oscilloscopes, and factory technical databases Must have your own well-stocked professional toolbox appropriate for an experienced/lead technician ASE certifications (A1-A8 or Master Technician) are preferred Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced shop Pay starts at $25+/hour and will be based on experience and skill level. #3107FL
