Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with experience in diagnosing and resolving a variety of mechanical issues. This role requires a commitment to providing exceptional customer service while ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality in all repairs. Responsibilities Perform routine vehicle maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal performance. Diagnose and repair automotive systems, including mechanical, electrical, and powertrain components. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to execute repairs and adjustments. Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot issues accurately. Conduct alignment services and other specialized repairs as needed. Work on diesel engine repairs and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS). Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs. Collaborate with team members to enhance service efficiency and quality. Requirements Proven mechanic experience, preferably in a dealership setting. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive diagnostics and repair. Familiarity with automotive electrical systems and auto body repair techniques is a plus. Experience working with GM vehicles is advantageous. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment as necessary. Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including schematics. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Strong customer service skills to interact professionally with clients. Willingness to stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques. A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications are a plus.
