Full-time About Us Spectrum Collision and Auto Repair is a family-owned collision repair shop proudly serving the West Palm Beach area for 12 years. We're not a corporate chain — we're a mom-and-pop shop where you're a name, not a number. As a Progressive Pro shop, we have a steady, reliable flow of work year-round, so you'll never be sitting around waiting for cars or worrying about slow seasons cutting into your paycheck. We're looking for a skilled Body Technician / Prepper to join our team and grow with us.
What You'll Do Body Work:
Perform collision repairs on a variety of makes and models, from minor dents to structural repairs Remove, repair, and replace damaged body panels, frames, and components Perform metal work including welding, dent repair, and panel alignment Follow repair plans and OEM procedures to restore vehicles to pre-accident condition
Paint Prep:
Apply body filler, primer, and sealer with a clean, consistent finish Feather-edge, block sand, and prep repaired panels for the paint booth Mix and apply primers; ensure surfaces are paint-ready with no defects
General:
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Communicate with the estimator and shop team to keep repairs on schedule What We're Looking For 2-5 years of collision repair / auto body and paint prep experience Own set of hand tools Solid skills in dent repair, panel replacement, body filler, and sanding/masking Welding experience (MIG; aluminum a plus) Ability to read and follow repair estimates Reliable, self-motivated, and takes pride in quality work Valid driver's license I-CAR or ASE certifications a plus, but not required Why Work With Us Consistent work, every week — our Progressive Pro status keeps the bays full year-round Family-owned atmosphere — no corporate red tape, direct access to the owner, and a team that has your back 12 years established — a stable shop with a strong local reputation Room to grow — we invest in our people and promote from within Schedule Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Optional weekend work available Extra hours available for those who want them How to Apply Apply through Indeed with your resume, or stop by the shop and talk to us in person.
