Job Description
Applicant should have extensive background in mechanical experience. A minimum of 2 years required. Ability to maintain and stay within a set budget when ordering required parts to maintain equipment. Ability to diagnose and repair small engine equipment, work on zero turn mowers, motorized carts, trimmers, edgers, backpack blowers, sharpening blades and other related lawn care equipment. Also, the ability to work on compact tractors, general maintenance of transportation vehicles, minor welding and fabricating. Also possess the ability to run zero turn mowers, equipment, drive vehicle and operate aerial lift. Willing to operate a zero turn mower to help production when downtime arises in the maintenance shop to ensure the Community's appearance is maintained. Be self motivated and efficient in all related job requirements. Willing and capable to help the maintenance crew to perform projects when they require extra help. HVAC experience and/or working knowledge of said equipment a definite plus for prospective applicant.
