Job Description We are seeking an experienced Ford Certified Technician to join our growing Service Department. We are looking for a skilled, dependable technician who takes pride in performing accurate repairs, following Ford procedures, and providing quality workmanship for every customer. Qualifications The ideal candidate will have: Minimum 5 years of Ford dealership experience Current or recent Ford factory certifications Strong working knowledge of Ford diagnostic systems, tools, and procedures Experience diagnosing and repairing complex electrical, drivability, engine, and chassis concerns Thorough understanding of Ford warranty policies and procedures Knowledge of proper warranty documentation, technician stories, causal part identification, and repair authorization requirements Understanding of proper technician timekeeping and punch-time requirements Ability to utilize Ford technical resources, including workshop manuals, wiring diagrams, TSBs, SSMs, and other Ford service information Ability to perform repairs according to Ford published repair procedures Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities Valid driver's license and a good driving record Ability to work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of quality Responsibilities As a Ford Certified Technician, you will be responsible for: Accurately diagnosing customer concerns and determining the proper repair Performing maintenance and repairs according to Ford specifications and procedures Properly documenting diagnostic findings, test results, cause, correction, and repairs performed Following all Ford warranty policies, procedures, and documentation requirements Maintaining accurate clock/punch times on warranty and service contract repairs Utilizing Ford diagnostic equipment and technical resources effectively Completing Multi-Point Inspections and identifying legitimate maintenance and repair needs Communicating effectively with Service Advisors, Shop Foreman, and Service Management Performing quality-control checks to reduce comebacks and ensure repairs are completed correctly the first time Maintaining an organized, clean, and professional work area Staying current with required Ford training and certifications What We're Looking For We are looking for more than someone who can simply replace parts. Ford dealership experience is required. Minimum 5 years of Ford experience preferred.
