Automotive Express Service Technician- Holler Honda Service Center Holler-Classic Family of Dealerships, an Automotive News Top 150 dealership group with 17 dealerships serving the Central Florida and Columbia, South Carolina markets, has been proudly family-owned since 1938. Our Buy Smart - Be Happy® brand promises include Our Best Price First, Pure and Simple® and Commission-Free Sales. The Express Technician is responsible for performing vehicle repair and maintenance work as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards. We have the latest Hunter equipment throughout the shop and service areas. We also have all manufacturer tools organized and catalogued for ease of use. As part of your compensation, you are eligible for a sign on bonus via immediate contribution to a long-term compensation savings account. Please speak with manager during your interview process for details. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable Accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
  • Drain oil from crankcase and refill with required amount of oil.
  • Inspect fluid levels of steering gear, power steering reservoir, transmission, differential, rear axle housings, and shackles
  • Check air pressure of tires
  • Lubricate moving parts with specified lubricants
  • Inject grease into units, such as springs, universal joints and steering knuckles, using hand or compressed-air powered grease gun when available
  • Add water to radiator and battery
  • Replace oil and air filters
  • Inspect all vehicles for additional repairs needed
  • Completes thorough MPI inspection and record findings to service advisor
  • Requires walking or standing for an extended period of time
  • Other duties assigned by management
