Conduct repairs on powertrain components, transmissions, diesel engines, and other critical vehicle systems with precision and efficiency. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive repair tools to complete repairs and maintenance tasks. Execute vehicle maintenance procedures including oil changes, brake repairs, wheel alignments, and suspension work to ensure safety and reliability. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex electrical systems such as ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and other electronic modules. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repair needs clearly and offering professional recommendations for vehicle care. Assist with auto estimating processes to ensure accurate assessment of repair costs and timelines for customers. Skills Proven dealership experience or service technician experience demonstrating a strong background in automotive repair. Deep understanding of automotive electrical systems, schematics, ADAS technology, and powertrain components. Skilled in diagnosing issues using automotive diagnostics equipment and interpreting technical diagrams. Mechanical knowledge encompassing transmissions, diesel engines, vehicle maintenance, and general automotive service procedures. Proficient with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive repair tools required for complex repairs. Ability to work efficiently on GM vehicles or similar makes with a focus on quality workmanship. Excellent customer service skills combined with auto estimating capabilities to enhance customer satisfaction.
