In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic equipment within a manufacturing facility. Your expertise will ensure optimal equipment performance, safety, and reliability across operations. Duties Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery, including HVAC systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and electrical components. Troubleshoot complex mechanical issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and precision measuring instruments. Repair or replace defective parts through welding (stick welding), equipment troubleshooting, or component replacement to minimize downtime. Read electrical blueprints and schematics to diagnose electrical system faults accurately. Use Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and other control systems to troubleshoot automation equipment and ensure proper operation. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Collaborate with engineering teams to identify root causes of recurring issues and implement long-term solutions that enhance equipment reliability. Requirements Proven experience working in manufacturing facilities with a strong understanding of industrial mechanics and maintenance practices. Proficiency in electrical diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, and electrical system repair. Hands-on experience with HVAC/R systems, scissor lifts, hydraulics, and pneumatic systems troubleshooting. Ability to read schematics, technical diagrams, and blueprints related to electrical and mechanical systems. Skilled in welding techniques such as stick welding for equipment repair or fabrication tasks. Familiarity with CMMS software for work order management and maintenance tracking. Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical blueprint reading, and engineering troubleshooting methods. Strong analysis skills combined with customer service orientation to effectively communicate issues and solutions. Valid certification or experience in industrial maintenance, electrical systems, HVAC/R, or related fields is preferred. Ability to operate testing tools including voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and other precision instruments accurately.
