Assistant Manager for Oil Lube $14-$18 an hour starting pay based on experience. 6145 Watson Blvd Byron, GA 31008 Overview Join our dynamic automotive service team as an Oil Lube Assistant Manager! In this energetic role, you will lead the daily operations of the oil change and vehicle maintenance department, ensuring top-notch customer service and efficient workflow. Your mechanical expertise and leadership skills will drive a positive environment where quality, safety, and speed come together to deliver exceptional automotive care. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your managerial skills while working hands-on with a variety of vehicles and automotive systems. Duties Oversee daily operations of the oil change and vehicle maintenance department, ensuring timely and accurate service delivery Lead and motivate a team of technicians and service advisors to meet performance goals and uphold high standards of customer satisfaction Perform and supervise routine automotive fluid replacements, oil changes, tire services, alignments, and minor mechanical repairs Utilize automotive diagnostics tools and power tools to identify issues and execute repairs efficiently Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols during heavy lifting, mechanical repairs, and use of hand tools or power tools Ensure all vehicle maintenance tasks are completed according to manufacturer specifications and quality standards Manage inventory of parts, fluids, hand tools, and equipment to support smooth daily operations Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed, addressing questions, and ensuring a positive experience for every client Experience Proven dealership or automotive repair shop experience with a focus on oil changes, tire service, alignment, and minor mechanical repairs Hands-on mechanic experience with standard passenger cars and familiarity with automotive diagnostics systems Strong mechanical knowledge including automotive fluid replacement, vehicle maintenance procedures, and use of hand tools and power tools Experience in supervising or leading a team within an automotive service environment is preferred Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced setting Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients Knowledge of dealership standards for vehicle repair, safety protocols, and quality assurance practices Join us in delivering outstanding automotive care while advancing your leadership career!
