Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Mobile Service Technician to join our automotive service team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicle systems on-site at customer locations or mobile service units. Your expertise will ensure that vehicles operate safely and efficiently, providing exceptional service to our customers. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with diverse vehicle types, including heavy-duty trucks and light vehicles, utilizing your mechanical skills and automotive knowledge to deliver top-tier maintenance and repairs. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, powertrain components, suspension systems, brakes, shocks & struts, and other mechanical systems. Execute routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections to ensure optimal performance. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical repair tools safely and effectively during service procedures. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive problems efficiently. Repair or replace ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), air brake systems, and other specialized vehicle components with precision. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process. Experience Proven experience working in the automotive repair industry with a focus on dealership or heavy equipment mechanics preferred. Strong background in automotive diagnostics, mechanical repair, transmission repair, and vehicle maintenance. Familiarity with Schematics reading, automotive electrical systems, and auto estimating software is highly desirable. Hands-on experience with GM vehicles or similar makes is a plus but not required. Knowledge of diesel mechanics, automotive suspension system repair, wheel alignment procedures, tire service, shocks & struts replacement, and brake repair is essential. Demonstrated ability to work independently in a mobile environment while maintaining high standards of safety and quality. Mechanical knowledge combined with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate repairs. $30.00 - $45.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 60.0 per week
