Job Description

Responsibilities Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues on commercial trucks and trailers. Perform preventative maintenance services including oil changes, inspections, brake repairs, and tune-ups. Repair and replace engines, transmissions, suspensions, steering components, drivetrains, and cooling systems. Troubleshoot electrical systems and wiring issues. Perform brake, tire, wheel bearing, and suspension repairs. Complete DOT inspections and identify safety concerns. Maintain accurate repair records and document completed work. Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards. Communicate repair recommendations and maintenance needs with management. Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures. Qualifications Minimum 3 years of commercial truck mechanic experience required. Experience working on diesel engines and commercial trucks. Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills. Knowledge of DOT regulations and preventative maintenance practices. Ability to use diagnostic software and repair equipment. Valid driver' s license preferred (CDL is a plus). Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in a physically demanding environment. Must be reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
