- Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements
- Diagnose and repair vehicle malfunctions, including electrical and mechanical issues
- Conduct vehicle inspections and provide recommendations for necessary repairs or maintenance
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve automotive problems
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and explaining repair options
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed on vehicles
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technology and repair techniques
Automotive Technician Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines a big plus
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve automotive issues
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and explain technical information in a clear manner
- Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and manual labor as required
