Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanic to join our dynamic maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of industrial equipment and machinery within a manufacturing facility. Your expertise will ensure optimal operational efficiency, safety, and reliability across all systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge, troubleshooting skills, and a proactive approach to maintenance and repairs. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on industrial machinery, including HVAC/R systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and electrical components. Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues using schematics, blueprints, and diagnostic tools such as ammeters and ohmmeters. Conduct repairs on equipment including welding ( welding if applicable), electrical systems, and mechanical parts to minimize downtime. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to document work orders, maintenance history, and inventory management. Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and engineering troubleshooting manuals to accurately diagnose problems. Operate specialized equipment such as scissor lifts safely for access to high or hard-to-reach areas during maintenance tasks. Collaborate with engineering teams on troubleshooting automation components like programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to optimize system performance. Maintain compliance with safety standards by adhering to proper procedures during electrical diagnostics, welding, or other repair activities. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with team members and internal clients about maintenance status or technical issues. Skills Extensive experience in manufacturing facilities with a strong understanding of industrial mechanics and maintenance procedures. Proficiency in using CMMS software for work order management and documentation. Technical sales experience is a plus for understanding client needs and presenting solutions effectively. Knowledge of HVAC/R systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical diagnostics, schematics reading, and equipment troubleshooting. Skilled in the use of precision measuring instruments such as calipers or micrometers for accurate repairs. Ability to read electrical blueprints and schematics confidently; familiarity with engineering troubleshooting methods. Hands-on experience with welding ( welding if applicable), electrical systems repair, and industrial maintenance practices. Strong analysis skills combined with practical problem-solving abilities for quick resolution of issues. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical blueprint reading, and troubleshooting automation systems.
