Job Description

Start your new career as an Automotive Technician with MAU at Mallaghan in Newnan, GA. As an Automotive Technician, you will build and modify trucks to fit the client's design. This position offers the opportunity for direct hire after 90 days of employment.   • 4+ years of experience with automotive paint/bodywork, automotive electricity, carpentry, light vehicle technology, hydraulics, and/or mechanics Ability to use power tools or mechanic-based tools Must be able to stand, squat, and bend for long periods Efficient communication skills Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative Ability to lift 50 lbs.
What You'll Do as a Mechanical Technician Build and modify trucks to fit the client's design Use power tools to make necessary modifications to the chassis (i.e., magnetic drill, hand drill, impact gun, etc.) Read engineering drawings and produce high-quality products to exact specifications Work to set production targets and safely move production parts Work as part of a team to develop continuous improvement Follow all safety regulations Perform other tasks as assigned
