Andrade's Clean Up is hiring a Traveling Fleet Mechanic to help maintain and repair our fleet across multiple locations in the Southeast. Based out of our Roswell, GA shop , you'll perform preventive maintenance, diagnose mechanical issues, complete repairs, and travel as needed to support our operations in Alabama, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Florida . This is a hands-on position for someone who is mechanically skilled, dependable, comfortable working independently, and ready to travel when our fleet needs support. We provide the truck. You bring the mechanical expertise and CDL Class A. What You'll Do As a Traveling Fleet Mechanic, your priority is simple: keep our fleet safe, reliable, and moving. Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on company vehicles and equipment Travel approximately 25% to support company locations in AL, SC, TN, and FL Perform oil changes, brake repairs, inspections, scheduled services, and general mechanical maintenance Diagnose and repair issues involving engines, powertrains, brakes, suspension, steering, alignment, and hydraulic components Troubleshoot mechanical problems and recommend appropriate repairs Inspect vehicles and equipment to identify potential problems before they result in downtime Safely operate a company-provided truck and trailer while transporting tools, parts, and materials Assemble and disassemble mechanical components safely and efficiently Maintain accurate service records, inspection reports, and repair documentation Communicate equipment conditions, repair needs, and preventive maintenance recommendations to the Maintenance Manager Safely operate forklifts, trailers, and other shop or field equipment as needed Work with mechanics, drivers, and site teams to minimize equipment downtime Perform welding or basic fabrication when needed (experience preferred, but not required) Work independently while traveling and adapt to different shops, job sites, and operating environments Required Qualifications Valid CDL Class A Driver's License At least 1 year of professional mechanic experience Ability and willingness to travel approximately 25% Ability to commute to and work from our Roswell, GA 30075 location Working knowledge of vehicle and mechanical systems, including engines, brakes, suspension, steering, and powertrains Experience performing preventive maintenance and mechanical troubleshooting Ability to safely operate trucks and trailers Ability to read and follow repair procedures, technical documentation, and safety requirements Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities while traveling Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe, quality workmanship English communication skills sufficient to safely perform the responsibilities of the position Preferred Qualifications Diesel or heavy-duty truck maintenance experience Fleet maintenance experience Hydraulic system experience Welding or fabrication experience Experience with shocks, struts, alignments, and suspension repairs Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, but not required What We Provide Company-provided truck Competitive hourly pay based on experience Travel support for company-required travel Full-time employment Referral program Opportunities for growth and advancement within the Maintenance Department Support from an established maintenance and operations team Why Andrade's Clean Up?
