Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Service Manager to oversee the daily operations of our automotive service shop. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and management, ensuring that our team provides high-quality service to our customers. This role requires excellent leadership skills, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to manage both staff and customer relations effectively in a high paced and load fast growing work shop environment. Responsibilities Manage daily shop operations, including scheduling and workflow coordination. Supervise and train service technicians to ensure high standards of automotive service. Oversee automotive diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance services. Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate financial records for the shop. Conduct auto estimating for repair costs and provide detailed explanations to customers. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean working environment. Address customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner. Monitor inventory levels of parts and supplies, placing orders as necessary. Skills Strong knowledge of automotive service practices, including engine repair and mechanical diagnostics. Proficiency in auto estimating techniques and cash handling procedures. Excellent leadership abilities with experience in managing a team of service technicians. Effective communication skills for interacting with customers and staff alike. Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues efficiently and accurately. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage shop operations smoothly.
