Responsibilities Respond swiftly to roadside assistance calls, assessing vehicle issues on-site and determining appropriate solutions Perform mechanical repairs such as tire changes, battery jumps, fluid top-ups, and minor engine fixes using hand tools and power tools Utilize schematics and technical manuals to diagnose mechanical and electrical problems with vehicles, including diesel engines and automotive electrical systems Conduct manual handling of heavy equipment, spare parts, and tools safely while adhering to all safety regulations Use diagnostic tools like ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical systems accurately Maintain detailed records of service activities, parts used, and repairs performed for each incident Ensure compliance with safety standards during all repair procedures and vehicle operations Experience Proven experience in vehicle maintenance, repair, or automotive service roles with a focus on roadside assistance or mobile repair services Strong mechanical knowledge across various vehicle systems including diesel mechanics and electrical components Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, schematics reading, and mechanical repair techniques Familiarity with maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) practices within automotive or fleet environments Knowledge of safety regulations related to manual handling, vehicle repairs, and roadside assistance operations Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally under pressure Experience working with automotive electrical systems and using diagnostic instruments such as ohmmeters is highly desirable

Pay:

From $25.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 50.0 per week
