EXPERIENCED CERTIFIED RV SERVICE TECHNICIAN
About The Role As a team member of Georgia RV Pros, you play a crucial role in maintaining our reputation as a safe, reliable repair facility, built on a foundation of ethics and integrity. Our success depends on everyone conducting themselves in a professional and courteous manner when interacting with customers as well as other team members. As we grow, we trust you will consistently use your best judgement in every situation. We're looking for an Experienced Certified RV Service Technician to join our service team. You'll diagnose and repair motorhomes, travel trailers, and fifth wheels - everything from preventative maintenance on various systems to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, chassis and appliances. This is hands-on work that requires problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as being able to bend and lift up to 50lbs on a daily basis. Responsibilities Perform diagnostic testing on RV HVAC systems, diesel hydronic heating systems, pneumatic and hydraulic systems Repair and maintain water systems, sewage systems, and propane appliances (water heaters, furnaces, refrigerators) Troubleshoot and repair 12V electrical systems, 120V/240V shore power systems, and battery charging systems Replace and repair slide-outs, awnings, seals, and exterior components Repair and replace structural as well as cosmetic interior and exterior paneling, trim and cabinetry Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, filter replacements, fluid flushes, and inspections Document all work completed in the shop management system with accurate notes and parts used Communicate directly Shop Foreman regarding repair findings, timelines, and costs before starting work Inspect completed repairs and perform road tests when necessary to verify repairs ensuring that the final work meets quality standards Follow all safety protocols when working with propane, electrical systems, and heavy equipment Maintain a clean and organized work area and properly dispose of hazardous materials Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned Requirements Current RV Service Technician Certification (RVDA or equivalent) or ASE certification in relevant areas Minimum 3 years of hands-on RV repair experience Proficiency with diagnostic equipment specific to RVs (multimeters, propane leak detectors, appliance testers) Must furnish own tools Working knowledge of motorhome, travel trailer, and fifth wheel systems and layouts Valid driver's license with clean driving record Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and work in various physical positions Strong communication skills Reliable attendance and ability to work in environmental conditions including heat, cold and periodic outdoor conditions Nice To Have ASE Master Technician certification Experience with diesel RVs or Class A motorhomes Familiarity with RV-specific software and shop management systems NFPA certification for propane work Experience training or mentoring junior technicians What We Offer Competitive hourly wage based on experience and certifications
