Job Description

ALM Chevy South is growing and adding to our team! We are currently hiring an Express Lube Technician for our busy dealership.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Adheres to express lube guidelines. Performs lube, oil and filter changes by draining and replacing oil and filter, and lubricating all joints, including idler arm steering knuckles, tie rods ends and ball joints. Reports all necessary repairs to service advisor. Checks battery, tire air pressure, windshield fluid, transmission fluid and power steering fluid levels and refills as needed. Checks coolant level and refills as necessary. Ensures that vehicle is clean and free of fluid residue or fingerprints. Checks fluid level prior to release of vehicle to ensure proper levels. Maintains CSI at or above Company standards Maintains an organized, clean and safe work area Participates in required training Records all hours worked accurately in company timekeeping system Follows Safeguards rules and regulations. Complies with Company policies and procedures Observes all Federal, State, Local and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties. Other duties as assigned Pay is based on Experience.
Desired Education:
GED High School Diploma Education/Experience:
At least 1 year of automotive repair experience required. Basic knowledge of automotive parts and systems. Demonstrable mechanical skills and knowledge.

Must be able to lift up to (50) pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
