Join us as an ASE-Certified Light Vehicle Service Technician and help deliver reliable, efficient repairs for our community. What Success Looks Like (First 90 Days) Consistently complete maintenance and repair work with zero comebacks. Demonstrate strong diagnostic accuracy using OEM tools and procedures. Communicate clearly with customers and advisors about findings and solutions. Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work area. Contribute to a smooth, team-driven workflow. Role Responsibilities Handle routine services and corrective repairs across multiple vehicle systems. Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using advanced diagnostic equipment. Document findings and present repair options professionally. Uphold shop organization and safety standards. Continuously learn and apply new technologies and repair techniques. Work collaboratively to ensure timely, high-quality outcomes for customers. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; automotive technical training preferred. Demonstrated experience as an automotive technician or mechanic. Comprehensive understanding of vehicle systems and modern repair approaches. Skilled with diagnostic tools, scan equipment, and test procedures. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication with a customer-centric approach. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Areas of Expertise Electrical systems diagnostics and repair Vehicle electronics and computer controls Engine performance and drivability Brake and suspension systems Transmission and drivetrain systems General automotive repair ASE Automobile & Light Truck certification disciplines Engine repair Manual drive train and axles Suspension and steering Brakes Engine performance Light vehicle diesel engines Advanced engine performance Oil change services and preventive maintenance Tire service Automotive repair & service systems Location & Relocation This is a full-time, onsite position in Lihue, Kauai. Relocation candidates are welcome. If you bring strong diagnostic and repair experience and have a clear plan to move to Kauai, we want to talk.
