Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team, responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles and heavy equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background, with experience in automotive diagnostics, heavy equipment operation, and customer service. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Responsibilities Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, including cars, trucks, and heavy machinery. Diagnose mechanical issues using automotive diagnostics tools and schematics. Perform repairs on transmissions, brakes, suspensions, HVAC systems, and diesel engines. Operate heavy equipment such as excavators and cranes safely and efficiently. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment for assembly and repair tasks. Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance tasks. Skills Dealership experience is preferred but not required. Proficiency in fabrication techniques and heavy lifting capabilities. Strong mechanical knowledge across various systems including hydraulics, shocks & struts, air brakes, alignment, and tire service. Experience with farm machinery, industrial equipment, tractor-trailer maintenance, and automotive repair is highly valued. Familiarity with electrical systems and soldering skills are advantageous. Ability to read schematics and perform troubleshooting effectively. Strong problem-solving skills combined with a commitment to quality workmanship. Excellent communication skills for effective customer interactions.
