In this vital role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy trucks and light trucks to ensure optimal performance and safety. The person we are seeking should have multiple years experience working on heavy trucks as well as experience on doing light truck and heavy truck alignments. If your skills don't include being able to do alignments currently but have the willingness to learn we can train the right individual. Duties Perform comprehensive inspections and diagnostics on heavy duty trucks and light trucks. Conduct repairs on suspension systems, brakes, shocks & struts, air brakes to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with industry standards. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment. Perform vehicle maintenance including chassis parts replacement, tire service, wheel alignment, shocks & struts replacement, and general preventative repairs. Assist with heavy lifting tasks safely using appropriate heavy equipment operation techniques while adhering to safety protocols. Skills Proven experience or extensive background in heavy truck repair and service technician roles. Preferred mechanic with previous alignment experience but will train the right person. Excellent customer service skills combined with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients or team members.
