Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain components. Execute routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire service, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections to uphold safety standards. Repair and replace automotive parts using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive repair techniques. Work on ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) Follow manufacturer specifications for vehicles and heavy equipment mechanics when applicable; utilize schematics for complex repairs. Maintain detailed service records, complete vehicle inspections, and ensure all work adheres to safety protocols and quality standards. Skills Proven dealership experience or extensive background working in the automotive repair industry with a focus on light trucks and passenger vehicles. Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems, mechanical systems repair, and diagnostic procedures. Experience with ADAS calibration, diesel engine repair, transmission repair, and is highly desirable. Proficiency with vehicle maintenance procedures including oil changes, wheel alignments, tire service, shocks & struts replacement. Ability to read schematics accurately and interpret technical manuals for complex repairs on various vehicle makes including all Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram models. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical repair tools essential for automotive service. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on clear communication and professional integrity; ability to explain repairs clearly.
