Shottenkirk Chevrolet Buick GMC Fort Madison is looking for a skilled Automotive Body Shop Technician to join our growing collision repair team. Responsibilities Perform high-quality collision repairs according to manufacturer specifications Repair and replace damaged body panels, bumpers, fenders, hoods, and structural components Measure, straighten, and align vehicle frames using approved repair methods Complete metal repair, panel replacement, and fitment work Prepare vehicles for paint and refinishing when needed Ensure repairs meet safety, quality, and OEM standards Inspect completed repairs for accuracy and workmanship Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Properly document repair procedures and completed work Work collaboratively with estimators, painters, parts personnel, and fellow technicians Qualifications Previous automotive body shop or collision repair experience preferred I-CAR, ASE, OEM, or GM certifications are a plus, but not required Strong knowledge of collision repair techniques and industry best practices Ability to safely operate body shop equipment and repair tools Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality repairs Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record Must be authorized to work in the United States Why Join Shottenkirk Chevrolet Buick GMC Fort Madison?
