Proudly serving Siouxland for over 25 years , we specialize in Polaris ATVs, UTVs, Snowmobiles, and Slingshot vehicles. We are looking for a Powersports Service Technician/Mechanic to join our team. We take pride in providing our customers with exceptional service and are looking for someone who shares that commitment. Powersports experience is a plus, but it is NOT required. If you have mechanical experience working on cars, trucks, farm equipment, construction equipment, small engines, motorcycles, or other machinery, we'd love to talk to you. We are willing to train the right person on Polaris products and Powersports-specific systems. Job Responsibilities Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, service, inspect, and maintain customer and company-owned Powersports equipment, primarily Polaris Perform routine maintenance and inspections Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues Read and use service manuals, schematics, and diagnostic information Complete warranty repairs and related documentation Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Provide quality workmanship and attention to detail Communicate effectively with the service team regarding repairs and equipment needs What We're Looking For Experience with Powersports, automotive, diesel, agriculture, construction, industrial equipment, small engines, or similar equipment is beneficial. MMI/service school training is a plus, but not required Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical problems Basic computer skills and willingness to learn manufacturer-specific diagnostic software Ability to read and understand service manuals and wiring schematics Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Dependable, hardworking, and willing to learn Strong communication and interpersonal skills High school diploma/GED or equivalent industry experience Why Taggart's Powersports?
