Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. We are a 3rd generation family-owned business in operation since 1979. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with a focus on delivering exceptional service to our customers. This role requires proficiency in diagnosing and repairing various vehicle systems, including electrical, powertrain, and mechanical components. The Automotive Technician will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that all vehicles are serviced efficiently and effectively. Duties Perform comprehensive automotive diagnostics to identify issues across various vehicle systems. Conduct repairs on automotive electrical systems, transmissions, and powertrain components. Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete repairs and maintenance tasks. Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used for each vehicle. Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction. Execute vehicle maintenance tasks including oil changes, alignments, and general repairs. Interpret schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive problems effectively. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly about repairs needed and services performed. Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies Assist with auto estimating for repair costs and necessary parts. Experience Previous experience as an Automotive Technician or Service Technician is required. Proficiency in automotive diagnostics and repair techniques is essential. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using both hand tools and power tools. A solid understanding of vehicle maintenance practices is required.
