Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automotive Technician to join our dynamic service team. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools and interpret automotive wiring diagrams to identify issues accurately. Repair and maintain various vehicle systems including powertrain, transmission, suspension, electrical systems, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). Conduct vehicle maintenance services such as oil changes, brake repairs, wheel alignments, and tire rotations. Rebuild or replace vehicle components using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive repair techniques. Diagnose complex mechanical problems related to diesel engines, transmissions, and vehicle suspension systems while ensuring repairs meet manufacturer specifications. Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot electrical wiring diagrams and system malfunctions effectively. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly, managing auto estimating processes, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service experience. Skills Proven dealership experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repair. Extensive knowledge of vehicle systems including powertrain, electrical systems, transmissions, and suspension components. Proficiency in interpreting automotive wiring diagrams and schematics for accurate troubleshooting. Hands-on experience with ADAS calibration and advanced diagnostic tools for modern vehicles. Mechanical knowledge complemented by experience with welding, vehicle maintenance procedures, and engine repairs—especially diesel engines. Familiarity with GM vehicles or similar makes is a plus; strong understanding of vehicle transmission system repair is essential. Excellent customer service skills paired with effective auto estimating abilities to ensure transparency and trust with clients.
