Join us and be part of a team that values quality service and community engagement. Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Automotive Mechanic to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will perform comprehensive vehicle repairs and maintenance, ensuring optimal performance and safety for our customers' vehicles. Your expertise will help keep our service department running smoothly while providing top-notch automotive care. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair a wide range of automotive issues using schematics, diagnostic tools, and mechanical knowledge Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire service, brake repairs, and suspension system repairs Repair complex systems including transmissions, powertrains, diesel engines, and automotive electrical systems Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and mechanical systems repair techniques to complete repairs efficiently Perform wheel alignments, shocks & struts replacements, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibrations, and auto body repairs when necessary Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and vehicle wiring diagrams to accurately identify issues Ensure all work meets safety standards and manufacturer specifications while delivering excellent customer service Experience Proven experience working in the automotive repair industry with dealership experience preferred Strong knowledge of automotive mechanical systems including transmissions, suspensions, brakes, and diesel engines Familiarity with automotive diagnostics tools and electrical systems troubleshooting Experience working with GM vehicles or heavy equipment mechanics is a plus Ability to work efficiently with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic software Excellent customer service skills with a focus on clear communication and professionalism Prior experience performing oil changes, alignments, tire services, auto estimating or auto body repairs is advantageous
