Job Description

We are a growing landscaping and outdoor services company looking for a dependable, hardworking Mechanic to join our team and take responsibility for maintaining and repairing our equipment fleet. We have a large and diverse fleet including commercial mowers, skid steers, tractors, trucks, trailers, small engines, and other landscaping equipment. We are looking for someone who enjoys mechanical work, can troubleshoot problems, and takes pride in keeping equipment running and ready for the field. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues Perform preventative maintenance and routine servicing Repair and maintain commercial lawn mowers and small engines Work on tractors, skid steers, trucks, trailers, and other equipment Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical problems Perform welding and fabrication as needed Keep the shop clean, organized, and safe Prioritize repairs to minimize equipment downtime Communicate with management and field crews about equipment needs Qualifications Previous mechanic experience preferred Experience with landscaping, agricultural, construction, or heavy equipment is a plus Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently Reliable attendance and strong work ethic are required Ability to prioritize work and complete repairs in a timely manner Valid driver's license Welding/fabrication experience is a plus Training & Support You won't be on your own. Our experienced part-time mechanic, Rob , will be available to help train the person we hire and provide knowledge of our equipment, maintenance practices, and repair procedures. Pay:
$25.00 - $33.00 per hour
