Overview Join our dynamic automotive team as a Parts and Service Advisor, where your enthusiasm and mechanical knowledge will drive customer satisfaction and operational excellence. In this energetic role, you will serve as the vital link between our valued clients and our skilled technicians, ensuring seamless communication, accurate estimates, and exceptional service experiences. Your ability to upsell effectively and manage service writing will contribute to the growth of our dealership while providing top-tier vehicle maintenance and repair solutions. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly, listen attentively to their vehicle concerns, and provide expert guidance on repairs and maintenance services Prepare detailed estimates using automotive estimating software, including parts, labor, and additional services such as collision repair or diagnostics Upsell appropriate products and services to enhance vehicle performance, safety, and longevity while ensuring customer needs are met Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs, track progress, and communicate updates clearly to clients Manage service writing duties accurately, including documenting work orders, processing invoices, and handling cash transactions when necessary Utilize automotive diagnostics tools to identify issues related to transmissions, brakes, suspensions, oil changes, tire service, diesel engines, shocks & struts, air brakes, alignments, and other mechanical systems Maintain excellent client communication by explaining repairs thoroughly and advising on future maintenance needs Requirements Proven experience as an automotive service advisor or in a similar dealership environment with a strong understanding of automotive repair processes Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience as a service technician or mechanic is highly preferred Familiarity with estimating software and computer-aided vehicle damage estimating tools. Knowledge of automotive diagnostics techniques across various systems including transmissions, suspension, brakes, diesel engines, and collision repair Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally Ability to upsell effectively while maintaining integrity and trust with clients Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; driving experience is required for test drives or vehicle inspections Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in cash handling, invoicing, and documentation processes Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering outstanding automotive care!
