Full-Time Service Technician Cedar Ridge Dairy - Filer, Idaho Cedar Ridge Dairy is seeking a dependable, self-motivated Full-Time Service Technician to join our team at our Filer location. This position will perform routine service and preventative maintenance on a diverse fleet ranging from light-duty gasoline vehicles and equipment to heavy-duty diesel equipment. Responsibilities Perform routine lubrication of chassis and equipment components. Change engine oils, additives, filters, and other fluids on a variety of gasoline and diesel engines. Perform preventative maintenance and basic service on vehicles and equipment. Conduct thorough maintenance inspections and identify and document deficiencies needing repair. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow established safety procedures and safe work practices. Communicate effectively with supervisors, mechanics, operators, and other team members. Work independently and as part of a team. Demonstrate a willingness to learn and develop additional mechanical skills. Perform other service and maintenance duties as assigned. Preferred Qualifications Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability. Ability to troubleshoot basic electrical systems, including lights, switches, fuses, wiring, and related components. Ability to identify basic steering, suspension, and other mechanical deficiencies. Experience performing vehicle or equipment preventative maintenance inspections. Previous experience servicing agricultural, automotive, truck, or heavy equipment is preferred but not required. Requirements Must have basic personal hand tools, including sockets, wrenches, and similar tools. Must have a clean driving record. Must be able to pass a background check. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen. Must be dependable and able to work with limited supervision.
