Duties Greet customers warmly, listen to their vehicle concerns, and accurately document service needs Explain repair recommendations clearly and confidently, utilizing estimating software and automotive diagnostics tools Upsell additional services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake repairs, alignments, suspension work, and transmission services to enhance vehicle performance Coordinate with service technicians to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion of work Prepare detailed service estimates using computer-aided vehicle damage estimating systems and communicate these to clients effectively Manage customer flow by scheduling appointments and following up on pending repairs or maintenance needs Handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining excellent client communication throughout the service process Requirements Proven experience as an Automotive Service Advisor or in a similar auto service management role within a dealership or independent shop Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in automotive diagnostics, collision repair, diesel engine repair, air brake systems, shocks & struts, and other automotive systems Experience with estimating software and computer-aided vehicle damage estimating tools is highly preferred Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients of varying knowledge levels Demonstrated ability to upsell services ethically while ensuring customer satisfaction Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; driving experience is essential for test drives and client interactions Knowledge of auto body repair processes, tire service, alignment procedures, suspension work, and auto sales techniques is advantageous Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and maintain detailed records of all service activities Join us in delivering exceptional automotive care!
