Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools and schematics to identify issues accurately across various vehicle systems. Repair and maintain powertrain components, including engines, transmissions, and drivetrain systems, ensuring vehicles operate smoothly and efficiently. Conduct vehicle suspension system repairs, and steering system diagnostics to optimize handling and safety. Interpret automotive wiring diagrams for electrical system troubleshooting and repairs involving automotive electrical systems and ADAS (Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems). Utilize hand tools and power tools skillfully for repairs, welding tasks, and component replacements while adhering to safety standards. Service vehicles by replacing worn parts, performing routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake inspections, and fluid checks to extend vehicle lifespan. Requirementsser Proven service technician experience with a strong background in automotive repair across various vehicle makes and models. Proficiency in automotive diagnostics using advanced diagnostic tools and interpreting schematics for electrical and mechanical troubleshooting. Mechanical knowledge of powertrain systems, vehicle transmission repair, diesel engine repair, and vehicle suspension system repair. Hands-on experience with vehicle maintenance procedures including wheel alignment, transmission servicing, and electrical system diagnostics. Familiarity with GM vehicles or similar brands is a plus; certification in automotive repair or equivalent mechanic experience is preferred. Ability to interpret automotive wiring diagrams accurately and work safely with power tools and welding equipment. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.

Pay:

$28.00 - $45.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
