Pay Based off Experience Duties Greet customers warmly, listen attentively to their vehicle concerns, and accurately document service requests Explain necessary repairs and maintenance options clearly, ensuring customers understand their vehicle's needs Use estimating software to prepare detailed repair estimates, including parts and labor costs Upsell additional services such as oil changes, tire rotations, alignments, brake repairs, suspension work, shocks & struts, and transmission services to maximize customer value Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs and communicate estimated completion times effectively Manage service writing processes by creating work orders and tracking vehicle progress throughout the repair cycle Handle cash transactions and process payments efficiently while maintaining accurate records Skills Proven experience as an automotive service advisor or in a similar dealership or auto service environment Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in automotive diagnostics, collision repair, and general vehicle maintenance Proficiency with estimating software and computer-aided vehicle damage estimating tools Excellent client communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues in simple terms Experience in auto estimating, service writing, and automotive repair procedures including oil changes, tire services, alignments, suspension work, brake repairs, shocks & struts, transmissions Ability to upsell services confidently while maintaining integrity and customer trust Dealership experience is highly preferred; automotive diagnostics and service technician experience are valuable assets Strong sales skills combined with exceptional customer service orientation Basic cash handling skills along with a valid driver's license for test drives or vehicle inspections Embark on a career where your mechanical expertise meets your passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.
