Job Description

Heavy Equipment & Diesel Mechanic Location:

Arlington Heights, IL We are seeking a full-time Heavy Equipment & Diesel Mechanic to join our team. We are looking for an experienced mechanic who can maintain, diagnose, and repair a variety of construction equipment and commercial trucks.

Responsibilities:

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heavy construction equipment and diesel trucks. Perform preventative maintenance and inspections. Repair hydraulic, electrical, brake, steering, and engine systems. Maintain equipment to minimize downtime. Keep accurate maintenance records and maintain a clean, safe work area.

Qualifications:

Experience repairing and servicing: Diesel trucks Bobcats (skid steers) Gradall machines Excavators Loaders Semi dump trucks Gas-powered work trucks Small construction equipment Experience mounting and dismounting tires. Welding experience required. Ability to diagnose mechanical and hydraulic issues. Valid driver's license required (CDL is a plus). Must be dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.

Schedule:

Full-time Monday through Friday 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM If you have experience working on heavy construction equipment and diesel trucks, we'd love to hear from you.
