Duties Conduct comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues across various vehicle systems, including electrical, powertrain, and transmission components. Perform repairs and maintenance on vehicles, including engine repairs, transmission servicing, wheel alignments, and diesel engine work. Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems efficiently. Repair or replace vehicle components such as brakes, suspension parts, steering systems, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) sensors. Use hand tools and power tools skillfully to complete repairs with precision and safety. Conduct vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and manufacturer specifications. Document all repair procedures accurately in the service records and communicate findings clearly to customers. Qualifications Proven dealership experience or extensive automotive service technician background with a strong understanding of vehicle repair processes. Knowledge of ADAS calibration, automotive electrical systems, and schematics interpretation. Experience diagnosing issues using automotive diagnostics equipment; familiarity with GM vehicles is a plus. Mechanical knowledge spanning powertrain systems, transmissions, diesel engines, and general vehicle maintenance. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive repair tools. Strong customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients. Experience with auto estimating software and understanding of automotive service procedures. $65,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
