Competitive Base Pay + Commission + Benefits Overview A busy, well-established all makes and models automotive repair shop in Carol Stream, IL is seeking a driven and customer-focused Service Advisor to join the team. This is a great opportunity for someone who understands the service process, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants to grow with a stable, high-performing shop. Key Responsibilities Greet customers and manage the service experience from vehicle check-in to delivery. Write and manage repair orders for all makes and models, presenting clear and accurate estimates. Communicate recommended services confidently and professionally. Coordinate workflow between technicians and customers to ensure timely completion of repairs. Track approvals, follow up with customers, and maintain strong CSI. Help drive sales performance while maintaining transparency and trust. Maintain an organized and professional front office environment. Qualifications 2+ years of experience as a Service Advisor (independent or dealership). Strong sales ability and customer communication skills. Solid understanding of automotive systems across domestic and import vehicles. Experience with shop management software (Tekmetric, RO Writer, Mitchell, etc.). Ability to multitask and perform in a high-volume setting. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Compensation & Benefits Competitive base pay plus performance-based commission.
