Job Title Automotive Technician / Mechanic — M-F (No Weekends) — Immediate Opening About the Role Join a busy, customer-focused shop as a hands-on Automotive Technician working a 5-day work week (Monday-Friday). You'll diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle systems, own jobs from inspection through road-test, and build trust with vehicle owners through clear explanations and reliable follow-through. What You'll Do

• Perform diagnostics and repairs to manufacturer specifications across brake and hydraulic systems, exhaust, fuel, ignition, and electrical systems, suspension and alignment, air conditioning, and onboard computer systems.
• Take ownership of repair jobs: estimate work, prioritize tasks, communicate status to customers and the service team, and ensure quality on final inspection and road test.
• Use scan tools and diagnostic equipment to isolate issues and recommend efficient, effective solutions.
• Mentor junior technicians and collaborate with service advisors to keep workflow steady and customers informed.
• Adapt to variable vehicle types and evolving repair needs while maintaining momentum to meet daily targets.
• Keep work areas, tools, and documentation organized to support team efficiency and safe operations. What We're Looking For
• Proven hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing passenger vehicles (2+ years preferred); ASE certification a plus but not required.
• Confident communicator who can explain technical findings clearly and persuasively to customers and coworkers.
• Self-starter who owns problems, makes decisions under ambiguity, and follows through until the job is complete.
• Comfortable working at a steady pace with the stamina to handle full days on the shop floor; dependable attendance is essential.
• Flexible and resourceful when new challenges arise; willing to learn updated systems and procedures.
• Basic computer literacy for digital inspections, parts lookup, and service documentation.
• Valid driver's license and ability to perform standard physical tasks (lift, bend, stand, use hand/power tools). Benefits
