Overview VERY busy automotive repair shop in search of a highly skilled mechanic. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive electrical systems, schematics, and diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Repair and overhaul powertrain components, including transmissions, diesel engines, and automotive electrical systems, ensuring optimal performance. Conduct detailed repairs on mechanical systems such as suspension, shocks & struts, brakes, air brake systems, and wheel alignments to meet manufacturer specifications. Complete vehicle maintenance tasks including oil changes, tire service, wheel alignments, and suspension repairs with precision. Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues effectively. Experience Extensive knowledge of automotive diagnostics, mechanical systems repair, and powertrain components including transmissions and diesel engines. Hands-on experience with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) is desirable. Demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a team while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Strong mechanical knowledge and proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic software.
Pay:
$40.00 - $55.00 per hour Expected hours: 50.0 per week
