JOB DESCRIPTION

You are the link between the customer and the shop. On a typical day you will: Answer calls and schedule appointments Write and manage repair orders Present inspections and recommendations clearly to customers Coordinate with technicians so work flows smoothly Order parts and manage returns when needed Follow up with customers to drive approvals and keep workflow moving This is not a "stand behind the counter and smile" role—this is a production-driving position . Daily a service adviser will be tasked to work with technicians to ensure they are completing the needed inspections and then reviewing these inspections with the customer. We do not pay on commission so our advisors do not need to feel pressure to sell certain services or repairs. We focus on performing good inspections to allow our advisors to review these with customers and determine what repairs and maintenance are needed now. Experience working on cars and understanding how vehicle systems work are a major advantage over other candidates when applying. This allows the adviser to explain issues to customers and better explain the value of our service.

QUALIFICATIONS

All service advisers need to be self motivated and able to handle multiple issues at once. Experience working in a busy store is highly preferred.

Education and Experience:

Applicants without automotive expertise will be considered and should apply. The main focus of being a successful advisor is being good at communication and having people skills. Looking for applicants that can demonstrate achieving goals, working constructively on a team, and enjoy a fast paced work environment. Frequent standing and walking for long periods of time.

Pay:

$50,000.00
