Job Description

Position:
Automotive Technician - Field Service Adecco Staffing is currently assisting a local client in hiring a Automotive Technician - Field Service in Normal, IL. The client is seeking career-driven individuals who are passionate about the automotive industry and committed to maintaining a safe, collaborative work environment.
Ideal candidates should demonstrate:
A strong understanding of basic workplace safety protocols A team-oriented mindset and willingness to support others Dependability and strong attendance A willingness to learn, grow, and develop within the organization A commitment to quality and working effectively as part of a team Schedule 40 hours per week Q4
Overtime:
Expected to include two Saturdays per month Key Responsibilities Assemble and attach components to vehicles on the assembly line in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Read and follow written assembly instructions, safety guidelines, and procedure manuals. Conduct basic routine equipment checks and cleaning to support continuous operation. Perform quality checks and identify or escalate irregularities and defective parts. Maintain a strong focus on workplace safety, quality, and teamwork.
Qualifications & Requirements Education:
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Experience:
At least 6 months of consistent work experience preferred. Experience may include manufacturing, retail, food service, or similar environments.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb steps, and perform repetitive bending, reaching, and kneeling.
Skills:
Strong focus on safety and quality, effective communication in English, reliability, and the ability to work successfully within a team environment.
