Job Description
Service Technician We are looking for a skilled Service Technician to join our team and keep our customers' vehicles running at peak performance. This is a place to build a long career. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle systems accurately and efficiently. Perform scheduled maintenance, inspections, and warranty repairs according to manufacturer guidelines. Complete all repair orders thoroughly and legibly, documenting parts used and time spent. Communicate clearly with service advisors regarding vehicle status, additional needed repairs, and completion timelines. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation in compliance with shop and OSHA standards. Participate in ongoing manufacturer and in-house training to stay current with evolving technology. Mentor and support apprentice technicians as needed. Requirements ASE certification(s) preferred; candidates actively pursuing certification are encouraged to apply. Prior experience as an automotive technician in a dealership or shop setting. Proficiency with diagnostic tools and software (brand-specific experience is a plus). Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple repair orders efficiently. Own a set of personal hand tools (specialty tools provided by dealership).
