We here at Apple Chevrolet are seeking an experienced Used Car Technician with 3+ years of automotive repair experience to join our team. We are a union shop here at Apple Chevrolet. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and reconditioning used vehicles to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
Perform multi-point inspections on used vehicles. Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues. Complete repairs and maintenance, including brakes, suspension, steering, engine, transmission, and HVAC systems. Perform vehicle reconditioning to dealership standards. Conduct quality control inspections before vehicles are delivered. Maintain accurate repair orders and documentation. Follow all safety procedures and manufacturer guidelines.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of automotive technician experience (used vehicle or dealership experience preferred). Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills. Experience using diagnostic scan tools and repair equipment. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. ASE certifications are preferred. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
