Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automotive Technician to join our dynamic service team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicle systems to ensure optimal performance, safety, and customer satisfaction. Your expertise will help keep vehicles running smoothly and efficiently, contributing to a positive customer experience and the overall success of our dealership. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools and interpret automotive wiring diagrams to identify issues accurately. Repair and maintain various vehicle systems including powertrain, transmission, suspension, electrical systems. Conduct vehicle inspections, alignments, wheel balancing, and suspension system repairs to ensure safety and optimal handling. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools to execute repairs efficiently. Troubleshoot complex automotive electrical systems and interpret schematics for precise repairs on GM vehicles or similar models. Complete auto estimating procedures by accurately assessing repair needs and communicating with customers about required services. Maintain detailed records of repairs performed, parts used, and diagnostic findings in accordance with dealership standards. Requirements Proven dealership experience or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive repair. Proficiency in automotive diagnostics using modern diagnostic tools and understanding of automotive electrical systems. Mechanical knowledge across various vehicle components including engines, transmissions, powertrains, and vehicle suspension systems. Ability to interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics effectively. Hands-on experience with vehicle maintenance procedures such as oil changes, brake repairs, wheel alignments, and diesel engine repairs. Valid mechanic license or certification preferred; relevant certifications such as ASE are a plus. Join our team where your skills will be valued! Pay:
$25.00 - $40.00 per hour
