Forged Auto Group operates five Meineke Car Care Centers, and we're building a team of technicians who take pride in their work, know how to diagnose vehicles correctly, and want to make money. Shared Production Bonus — When the Team Wins, You Win. We don't believe great technicians should only get paid for what happens in their own bay. Our Shared Production Bonus rewards the entire technician team when the shop produces. Help another tech get a tough job diagnosed. Keep cars moving. Knock out work. Eliminate bottlenecks. Produce as a team—and earn more as a team. No fighting over the "good jobs." No that's not my car mentality. The more the team produces, the more money you have the opportunity to put in your pocket. If you're the kind of technician who likes a busy shop, works hard, helps the guys around you, and wants to make money—we built this bonus for you. This is NOT an entry-level technician position. We're looking for an experienced A-Level Automotive Technician who can handle everything from everyday maintenance and repairs to advanced diagnostics, electrical problems, drivability issues, engine work, and difficult repairs that other technicians may struggle with. If you're productive, dependable, take pride in fixing vehicles correctly the first time, and want to be rewarded for what you bring to the shop, we'd like to talk to you. What You'll Be Doing You're one of the people the shop depends on when a vehicle needs more than just basic repairs.
A typical day may include:
Advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting Check engine lights and drivability concerns Electrical diagnosis and repair Engine and cooling system diagnosis Steering and suspension repairs Brake systems HVAC diagnosis and repair Starting and charging systems Timing components and major engine repairs Performing complete digital vehicle inspections Identifying needed maintenance and safety concerns Providing clear technician notes, measurements, pictures, and recommendations Working with the service team to make sure repairs are properly documented and communicated Helping less-experienced technicians when needed Performing quality work and verifying repairs before the vehicle leaves What We're Looking For We don't expect perfection, but we do expect professionalism, effort, and accountability. You should:
Have strong automotive diagnostic skills Be comfortable diagnosing electrical and drivability problems Have professional automotive repair experience Be able to work independently Understand that diagnosing the vehicle correctly is just as important as repairing it Take pride in your productivity and efficiency Document your findings instead of just saying, "It needs a part" Be willing to follow our inspection and repair processes Keep your work area and equipment organized Care about the customer and the quality of the repair Be someone your teammates can depend on ASE certifications are a plus, but ability, experience, attitude, and production matter to us. This Probably Isn't the Job for You If... You're looking for a place to stand around waiting for work. You don't like inspections, documentation, or taking pictures. You guess at problems instead of diagnosing them. You don't want your productivity measured. Or you believe comebacks are just part of doing business. That's not how we operate. Why Forged Auto Group? We want good technicians to have the opportunity to make good money. Our goal is to provide the car count, equipment, processes, leadership, and support necessary for productive technicians to succeed. We believe technicians should be rewarded for skill, productivity, quality, and consistency. If you're an experienced technician who wants to work, wants to produce, wants to keep improving, and wants to make money , we want to meet you. Come build something with us.Pay:
