Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automotive Diagnostic Technician to join our dynamic service team. In this role, you will utilize advanced diagnostic tools and technical expertise to identify, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of vehicle systems. Your mechanical knowledge and attention to detail will ensure that each vehicle is serviced efficiently and accurately, providing exceptional customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics on various vehicle systems including powertrain, electrical, suspension, transmission, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). Utilize automotive diagnostic tools and schematics to accurately identify issues and determine necessary repairs. Repair or replace faulty components related to engine performance, vehicle suspension, transmission systems, electrical wiring, and other critical systems. Conduct vehicle maintenance services such as alignments, wheel balancing, and suspension system repairs to ensure optimal vehicle operation. Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot electrical issues effectively. Maintain detailed service records, complete auto estimating procedures, and communicate repair findings clearly with customers. Skills Proven experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repair. Proficiency in reading schematics, wiring diagrams, and understanding vehicle systems. Experience working with ADAS technology and automotive electrical systems. Skilled in using automotive diagnostic tools, power tools, hand tools, and power tools for repairs. Mechanical knowledge covering powertrain components, vehicle transmission systems, suspension systems, and vehicle maintenance procedures. Ability to interpret automotive wiring diagrams accurately for troubleshooting electrical issues. Strong customer service skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly to clients. Familiarity with GM vehicles or similar makes is a plus; welding experience is also advantageous. Service technician experience with auto estimating software preferred. $25.00 - $50.00 per hour Expected hours: 45.0 per week
