Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Certified GM Technician to join our vibrant service team. In this role, you will perform advanced diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on GM vehicles, ensuring top-tier quality and customer satisfaction. Your expertise will help keep our customers' vehicles running smoothly and safely, while contributing to our reputation for excellence in automotive service. Duties Conduct comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues with engine systems, electrical components, and vehicle systems. Perform repairs and maintenance on powertrain components, including diesel engines and automotive engine systems, adhering to manufacturer standards. Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot electrical problems effectively. Repair and service ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), alignment, welding, and heavy lifting tasks as needed. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment for mechanical repairs, engine overhaul, and vehicle maintenance tasks. Ensure all work complies with safety standards related to manual handling, heavy lifting, and vehicle maintenance procedures. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring vehicle systems operate optimally post-service. Experience Proven dealership experience as a certified technician with a focus on GM vehicles or similar brands. Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and diagnostic procedures. Experience repairing diesel engines and automotive engine technology at a professional level. Familiarity with ADAS calibration, wheel alignment techniques, and automotive body repair is preferred. Skilled in using automotive diagnostic tools, power tools, hand tools, and powertrain repair equipment. Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance and repair processes. Ability to interpret schematics accurately and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
