Lake Motor Group is seeking an experienced Automotive Reconditioning Technician to work on dealership owned inventory. This role is ideal for a technician who can independently handle common mechanical repairs and wants guaranteed hourly pay without flat rate pressure or retail customers. Responsibilities include brake and suspension repairs, wheel bearing service, cooling system repairs, starter and alternator replacement, oil and fluid leak repairs, routine maintenance and tune ups, general mechanical repairs, basic electrical troubleshooting, scanner based diagnostics, and vehicle inspections and reconditioning. The schedule is Monday to Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with optional Saturday hours from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and Sunday closed. Technicians work on dealership owned inventory with no retail customers and no service writers pushing upsells, and there is no waiting for customer approval on necessary repairs. The shop handles a variety of domestic and imported vehicles.
