Job Overview Join our dynamic team as an Automotive Mechanic and Maintenance Mechanic, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring the safety, performance, and reliability of a wide range of vehicles. Your expertise will directly contribute to delivering exceptional service and maintaining high standards of vehicle maintenance across various models, including passenger cars and heavy-duty vehicles. Duties Diagnose and repair automotive engine systems using advanced diagnostic tools and schematics, including both gasoline and diesel engines. Diagnose and repair small equipment and machines. Perform comprehensive vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake repairs, alignment adjustments, and electrical system troubleshooting. Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics to accurately identify issues within complex vehicle electrical systems. Conduct ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibrations and repairs to ensure optimal vehicle safety features. Repair and maintain powertrain components, engine repair, transmission systems, and other critical vehicle systems with precision. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting techniques safely to perform mechanical repairs efficiently. Ensure all work complies with automotive industry standards, safety regulations, and manufacturer specifications. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair procedures clearly and addressing client questions professionally. Skills Proven dealership experience or extensive mechanic experience with a strong understanding of automotive repair processes. Expertise in automotive, small and large equipment diagnostics using diagnostic tools for accurate fault detection. Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive engine technology, electrical systems, vehicle wiring diagrams, and heavy-duty vehicle maintenance. Skilled in interpreting schematics for complex vehicle wiring diagrams and system layouts. Experience repairing ADAS features such as lane departure warnings, adaptive cruise control, and collision avoidance systems. Proficiency in working with various vehicle types including standard passenger cars, trucks, and GM vehicles is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining manual handling best practices in a busy workshop environment. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a customer-focused attitude to deliver top-tier automotive service.
